Freddy’s work reflects his hope and belief in Detroit: "I have so much faith in the city. I want Detroit, and Southwest Detroit, to be a place where people want to come and visit." He recently exhibited in two established galleries: the Red Bull House of Art and the Inner State Gallery which marks the start of a very promising career.
Freddy Diaz is a professional Muralist who was born and raised in Southwest Detroit, a part of the city that is known for it’s Mexican culture. The 23 year old rising artist is known by local businesses as a very talented street art artist. He has been commissioned by several of them and Southwest Detroit hosts many of his murals inspired by the local culture; a mix of Hispanic and Arab influence.
