Murals in the Market, Detroit’s internationally acclaimed public art festival, returns to its roots in Eastern Market this September 2025 to celebrate a decade of world‑class mural making, community building, and culture‑shaping creativity.
Following two years of Murals in Islandview, the festival’s 10‑year anniversary edition will reunite the city’s creative community for a powerful week of 14+ new murals, panel talks, live installations, exhibitions, and the return of the legendary Family Reunion Block Party — all culminating in a citywide celebration of Detroit’s role as a global capital of street art and design.
Murals in the Market will take place September 15 - 22. 14 Detroit artists will be painting murals all around Eastern Market all week

There will be daily and nightly activations in Eastern Market, UFO Bar, and Spot Lite Detroit starting on September 16 @ 12pm accompanying the artists painting murals.
