Temple Children duo David ‘Meggs’ Hooke and Miya Tsukazaki present Verso, a new installation debuting at 1xRun’s Murals in the Market on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
Inspired by Detroit’s Eastern Market and its history of actively planting, sourcing, and coming together to share, Verso celebrates the turning of the leaves, a shift in consciousness. The experiential installation reflects Temple Children’s ideology that in an upside down, consumer-driven society, we must turn back to simpler times and make conscious choices to directly affect our communities and natural resources in a positive light.
