This year's Murals in the Market Festival features an Artist Series Our Issue t-shirt that features the 2017 mural painted by Sydney G. James and AskewOne. All proceeds from shirts will benefit Enough SAID, Wayne County SAFE, and the SASHA Center to support the ongoing effort of investigating the backlog of rape kits in Detroit and providing direct services and care to survivors.

The Our Issue campaign was founded in 2016 as a collaboration between former Detroit Lions Linebacker, DeAndre Levy, survivor Desire Vincent Levy and apparel brand Detroit Hustles Harder to raise money to support processing the backlog of abandoned rape kits found in a Detroit warehouse. To date, the campaign has raised over $40,000 toward the effort.
